Medical Supply Store Receptionist Cover Letter Example

Hi Jane,

This is Amelia and I’m writing to express my interest in the Front-desk Attendant/ Receptionist position available at your firm. I have had 4 years of experience serving as a receptionist at medical and nursing facilities and I would like to apply my experience to your medical supply store in Los Angeles.

I love the pace at which things move at supply stores and being on my toes to help all visitors, staff, laborers, customers, and clients makes me feel needed which gives me satisfaction. Although my job doesn’t require me to stay long hours, I honestly love to oversee any activities that run late and need to be attended to in my capacity. At my current office, I took responsibility to keep the clinic running on a number of holidays to accommodate patients who needed hospital care during the wee hours of the night. I have also assisted in camping for medical supplies in the local area to provide free medication.

While I enjoy multitasking, the facility enjoys service and assistance whenever required. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know more about the work-space and daily activities at Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies and discussing how I can best serve the facility and its people.

Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely, Tracy Sigmond

You probably noted the “Hi” in salutation instead of “Dear”. When you write to apply for a receptionist position, you want to present yourself as friendly and therefore using “Hi” is not a problem.

Although using “Dear” in salutation can never hurt, you are free to use a more friendly tone.

Pharma Receptionist Cover Letter Example

Dear Joseph,

I came across the Front-desk Attendant vacancy at your facility and want to say that I was pleased to see it and write this application to apply for the position. I have experience working at a pharma company as a receptionist for 2 years which should come in handy when greeting 200 engineers and management staff at your facility.

My role at iCare pharma company was diverse from attending calls to tending to the needs of the guests of our staff. I assisted in everything that happened around the office from top management to the building watchmen keeping a professional and cheerful demeanor. I’m all about getting the job done, either by myself or by utilizing other people’s efforts in organizing and keeping the office space tidy at all times.

I recently developed a coordination plan for the effective movement of visitors from one department to another with a minimal waiting period between their short meetings. I’m thrilled to be able to make a difference in the everyday work-life of our staff and continuously find ways to facilitate seamless interactions.

I would like to bring the same level of energy and synchronization to your facility and cater to the organizational goals and values. I hope to hear from you soon to discuss how I can contribute within the Front-desk Attendant role to your greater mission.

I shall follow up in the next three days to know the status of my application and schedule an appointment for my interview.

School Receptionist Cover Letter Example

Dear Patricia,

It is with great pleasure that I write to apply for the Front-desk Office position of Receptionist at Lowell High School advertised in the Los Angeles Times on 15th February. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and have served as a Front-desk Manager for 5 years now working at a pharma company, a supply chain unit and a county in California.

During my time at the university, I learned technical terms used in office administration at educational institutes. I have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal which were tested in my previous employment when I responded to emails and edited proposals before they were ready to go. I have also delivered parts of some presentations in the absence of my boss to communicate and deliver important messages to visitors and clients. Sharing important responsibilities in order to assist my superiors is the best part of my work. I’m eager to take on challenging tasks and deliver on top of expectations.

When not busy with answering calls, greeting, and guiding visitors, I worked in the school-fees collection cell to help with fee collection and data entry or medical room to assist the nurses in caring for sick children and coordinating with parents.

I’m excited to bring my diverse experience and skills to the benefit of your school and children. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing how I can make myself useful to the administration and management of school operations.

Thank you for taking the time to review my application, my resume is attached to this email for your reference. Please do not hesitate to call me for an initial screening if required.
